Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
César Awards Portraits

While news is a little slow of late, I have updated the gallery with some portraits of Scarlett taken at last year’s César Awards–where she was awarded with the prestigious Honorary César. You may have seen them already, but for those who haven’t, enjoy!

Los Angeles Times Outtakes

Six beautiful outtakes of Scarlett’s photoshoot for the Los Angeles Times–alongside her Avengers: Age of Ultron co-star Elizabeth Olsen have been added to the gallery. And in case you missed it first time around, here’s the great accompanying article for the shoot.

Johansson, Olsen discuss ‘Avengers’ heroines’ move to front lines

If you haven’t already, be sure to check out this beautiful photoshoot of Scarlett and Elizabeth Olsen for the Los Angeles Times. The accompanying article can be found below. Enjoy!

LOS ANGELES TIMES – Elizabeth Olsen is doing more than bringing the Marvel Comics character Scarlet Witch to the big screen in Friday’s tentpole film “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” She’s also doubling the number of women on the Avengers roster.

“It’s really cool, and I don’t take it for granted,” said Olsen, 26, a self-professed fan of the comic book film franchise.

Previously, Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff, a.k.a. Black Widow, was the sole female member of the muscle-bound team of super-studs, comprising Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man, Chris Evans’ Captain America, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk and Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye. With four Marvel movies under her utility belt and a fifth (“Captain America: Civil War”) slated to begin filming next week, Johansson, 30, is a veteran of the flourishing Marvel Cinematic Universe. And she’s eager to welcome more women to the franchise.

“For so long, female superheroes have been mistreated, and I think women’s roles in general are often oversimplified and generic and saccharine,” said Johansson earlier this month at the Walt Disney Studio lot in Burbank.

W Magazine: Scarlett Johansson is Nobody’s Baby

The full photoshoot for Scarlett’s cover for W Magazine has just been released–and what a striking editorial it is. The story below was also published earlier today, I’m uncertain whether or not it’s the complete version we’ll see in the magazine, though.

“When she came out of me, I was so surprised,” Scarlett Johansson told me on a cold day in December. We were at the photo shoot for this story, and Johansson, who had given birth to her daughter, Rose, just three months earlier, was wearing tight jeans and an equally snug white sweater. Her short, almost platinum hair, which would soon be covered by a Debbie Harry circa-Blondie shag wig, was slicked back. “I had a very strong picture in my mind of what my baby would look like,” Johansson continued. “And, of course, she is completely different. Perfect, but not what I’d imagined. Now, of course, I can’t picture her any other way.” Johansson smiled. As always—and I have been interviewing her regularly since her breakthrough role in 2003’s Lost in Translation—she was at once forthcoming and guarded. Johansson, who just turned 30, has been acting professionally since she was 7 and is entirely comfortable in the spotlight. (“Everyone has seen my breasts!” she said when an assistant offered her a private changing room. “I can change my top right here.”) And then, when it truly matters, she can be remarkably discreet. It was months before the public caught wind of her marriage to the French journalist Romain Dauriac.

Scarlett in W Magazine’s Best Performances Issue

Scarlett is once again featured in this year’s W Magazine’s Best Performances Issue, this time for her performance in Under the Skin. Head over to the gallery to check out the new photoshoot. Enjoy!

As a child actor, I had
a hard time booking commercials. I was this
small, blonde, enthusiastic
kid, and then I’d open
my mouth and people
would hear my voice and
say, ‘Do you have a cold?’
My voice was too deep.
It confused people.

Vanity Fair Outtakes

I’ve updated the gallery with some beautiful outtakes taken from Scarlett’s Vanity Fair editorial earlier this year. I just cannot quite put into words how beautiful she is in this shoot–don’t you agree?

Vanity Fair Photoshoot

As you’ll no doubt know already, Scarlett is featured on the cover of this month’s Vanity Fair, looking as beautiful as ever. I have now added the photos from her editorial to the gallery.
