VARIETY – Scarlett Johansson is in talks to join the Coen brothers’ drama “Hail Caesar.”

Jonah Hill is also in talks to join the cast.

She would join Josh Brolin and George Clooney. Channing Tatum, Tilda Swinton and Ralph Fiennes are also in negotiations to co-star.

Universal will distribute with the Coens producing, along with Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan for Working Title Films.

The story follows a Hollywood fixer in the 1950s who is working to keep a studio’s stars in line.

Johansson will play an actress who suddenly becomes pregnant as her film is about to go into production. It’s a good fit, since Johansson announced in March that she was pregnant. She is engaged to Romain Dauriac.

The plan is to go into production this fall and given the size of the cast, Johansson’s role is not expected to take very long to shoot.

She can be seen next in Universal’s “Lucy” and just wrapped production on Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” She is repped by CAA and LBI Entertainment.

IGN – Black Widow will get around town in Marvel’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron on Harley Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle, called Project LiveWire.

Scarlett Johansson’s character will ride Project LiveWire in the upcoming Avengers sequel, marking the silver-screen debut for the electric Harley. Leaked footage of the Avengers: Age of Ultron shoot from earlier this year showed Johansson’s stunt double doing work on a motorcycle, which we now know is Project LiveWire.

Johansson is part of a star-studded cast for Avengers: Age of Ultron that also includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Elizabeth Olsen, Mark Ruffalo, and Jeremy Renner. Joss Whedon is back to direct and script the Marvel blockbuster sequel.

Avengers: Age of Ultron comes to theaters May 1, 2015.

THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER – In a late-inning release shuffle, Universal has shifted the opening of this summer’s Luc Besson action movie, Lucy.

The Scarlett Johansson starrer is moving up from Aug. 8 to July 25, 2014.

Reasons for the move were not immediately clear.

The July 25 date is already somewhat crowded. Paramount has Brett Ratner’s Hercules, starring Dwayne Johnson, opening while Columbia has the Cameron Diaz-Jason Segel comedy Sex Tape. Lionsgate has Step Up All In, the latest in the Step Up franchise.

Aug. 8 would have seen Lucy going up against Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which has plenty of interest from the younger demographics, potentially the same ones that could go see Lucy. Into the Storm, a 3D tornado disaster movie from New Line poses additional competition. Also opening is the drama The Hundred-Foot Journey, starring Helen Mirren.
